CHARLES SCHNEIDER  ART GLASS CANDELARBRA SIGNED TO BASE, Post War Era.

DETAILS: 

This table candelabra was made by Charles Scheinder.  1881- 1953 in France.

Schneider started his career at Daum , France. 

Then he continued his journey in making art glass with his brother and later with his son. 

The company closed in 1981. 

It is a lovely piece of art glass made by a renowned artist of the time. 

During the later years, post 1950 he created his style of art glass like I have on offer now.

It has four arms to hold the candles with gold tone metal holders for the candles.

It is 23cm high, 17cm across the 2 widest arms and 12cm across the base. 

The weight is 2.25kgs free standing.

It is signed to the base.
