This is from an Optical Glass Machine Shop. Our knowledge is limited to what is shown in this listing. We were told from the owner that this is in working condition but we have not personally tested it and the pricing should reflect that.

Rare Nippon Electric Corporation (NEC) GLG-5012. This vintage laser can be operated directly with 230V mains voltage, a corresponding high-voltage supply is already installed. It is basically on/off, very easy to operate. There is a collimator optic at the beam exit to enable a parallel beam path. The color of the beam is the HeNe-typical red (632.8nm). Developed in the early 80s, The laser has a length of approx. 30cm / 12" and is fully operational and in perfect condition. A great addition to a collection of tech vintage or laser equipment. One can find manuals with all the specifications online with great ease.
