This rare and hard to find complete set of antique cloth, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" dolls, (*shown in first 8 photos, only) as shown and described here was produced by Ideal Toy Co., circa 1937, to coincide with the Disney release of the movie on December 21, 1937. Each doll wears their original clean, sewn-on velveteen outfit with brown leather belts with buckles and matching, "name", velveteen cap as follows: Happy, Doc, Sneezy, Bashful, Sleepy, Grumpy and Dopey. Snow White is wearing her rare, gold velveteen and white dress with the seven dwarfs screen-printed in red with their pictures and names across the stiff skirt, white underskirt, pantaloons and socks with brown ribbon ties, no shoes. Her gorgeous black hair is still soft and in the original set with red hair ribbon. All figures have excellent, vivid coloring and well molded facial features uniquely designed to emphasize each character with a few showing a bit of paint wear to their arms (Snow White's arms have the most paint loss which could be easily touched up). They do not have any tears, stains, fading or holes and have no odors as they have been kept in a smoke free home. They have not had any repairs or touch up.
