Der Custom Shop hat die Königin der Flat Tops neu aufgelegt. Die SJ-200 gehört zu den berühmtesten Modellen im Steelstring-Portfolio von Gibson und wurde in Handarbeit in Bozeman/Montana gefertigt. Aus den besten Materialien entstand eine Gitarre wie damals in den 1930er Jahren, der goldenen Ära der Akustikgitarren. Die Decke aus torrefizierter Adirondackfichte, der Korpus aus Palisander, Ebenholz für Griffbrett und Bridge - alles verleimt mit Knochenheißleim, wie damals. Kein Detail wurde vergessen: das mit Bindings eingefasste Griffbrett, das Script-Logo in der Kopfplatte und das korrekte Pickguard zeugen vom Bewußtsein für die historischen Merkmale an dieser authentischen Neuauflage.

The Acoustic Custom Shop has recreated the King of the Flat-Tops. One of Gibson’s most storied models, this Historic Reissue instrument is hand-built in Gibson's celebrated Bozeman facility using the finest materials and styled after its late 1930s counterparts. Each is constructed with a select Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top with hot hide glue bracing, rosewood back and sides, and premium ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. No detail is left untouched: the bound fingerboard, vintage style script Gibson inlay, and unique pickguard add custom touches all over this authentic recreation.
