Adorable trinket box in the shape of the DeYoung Fancy Goods store in Philadelphia. Store front windows marked for jewelry (spelled Jewellary) and Fancy Store with images for an optician, post office, maybe a barber(?). High gloss glaze. Signed on the bottom (see photo) maybe says Jean along with “DeYoung Famcy Goods, Philadelphia”. Embossed mark c1997 and W. Bowen under the lid as well as the H stamp of Hurley Porcelain.

Fun addition to a desk for paper clips etc or as a decorative addition to a colonial era decor.

Condition - no chips or cracks. One area of the underside of the lid has been over painted so looks like a crack but see closeup to see it’s just the brown paint carrying over to the cream underside of the lid. Cute piece.
