This is a vintage DeKalb Sign - Masonite - Right Facing Flying Ear.

I did a little research on when these were made.  I found an article which describes that the original design by graphic artist Arlie Pearce, had his initials under the letter A in the kernels - well this one has that!!  This was circa 1940 - 1977.  

This measures approximately 31" long x 16" tall (from the tallest point)

Previously owned - this looks like it was probably mounted to a T-post at one time and that it got wet at one time.  The color is faded as you would expect due to age and the fact that it was most likely on the post at the edge of a field.
