Preowned, the plush is in quite nice condition for the age, but the fabric label is now quite faded, meaning I am unable to see a date. I can see that the reverse of the label mentions a sound device and the fact that the batteries would not be replaceable. This would have been in Bagpuss’ head but has been removed at some point. This means that this is purely a soft toy with no sound feature. Bagpuss is about 10” long, up to 15” including the tail. Please see photos.
