Antique, very rare late 19th century book in overall very good condition with only minimal age, use or shelf wear. Exterior of the book is clean with most of the gold gilding that was in the embossed title text long rubbed away but with black stamped design and text to the spine face still clearly legible if a bit faded. Interior of the book is very clean and well intact though there is a slight bit of an old nicotine odor as if someone was smoking while reading the book 50 years ago. Book's binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing.

Book totals 356 numbered pages followed by 50 to 60 pages of period Baltimore ads. Book measures approximately 9 7/8 x 8 5/8 x 2 inches and weighs about 4 1/2 pounds.
