Pencot is a herbicide in the form of a concentrate for preparing an aqueous emulsion (EC). Used to control some annual dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds in the cultivation of winter barley and winter wheat. A systemic agent.

Pencot Sharda herbicide - active substance content:

    pendimethalin – (a compound from the dinitroaniline group) - 330 g/l (35.71%).

Pencot - action:

It is taken up very quickly by the roots and above-ground parts of weeds. It combats weeds most effectively in the emergence and seedling phases. Monocotyledonous weeds are effectively controlled only in the very early stages of development.
Pencot Sharda herbicide - effect on weeds:

Dose 5.0 l/ha - sensitive weeds:

    common chickweed,
    grain broom,
    foxtail,
    odorless maruna,
    self-seeding rapeseed,
    clinging bedstraw,
    ivy speedwell,
    common tarantula,
    field violet.

Dose 3.0 l/ha - sensitive weeds:

    common chickweed,
    grain broom,
    foxtail,
    clinging bedstraw,
    ivy speedwell,
    common tarantula,
    field violet.

Dose 3.0 l/ha - medium sensitive weeds:

    white quinoa,
    clinging bedstraw.

Pencot herbicide - plant succession:

The agent decomposes during the growing season, posing no threat to subsequent crops. In case of previous plowing of the plantation treated with Pencot 330 EC (e.g. as a result of frost or damage to the plants by diseases or pests) in the field after plowing to a depth of 15 cm and mixing the soil well (after a minimum of 5 months after the application of Pencot 330 EC ) you can grow: spring wheat and spring barley.

Pencot Sharda - preparation of usable liquid:

Before preparing the usable liquid, carefully determine the amount needed. Pour the measured amount of the agent into the sprayer tank partially filled with water (with the mixer turned on) and top up with water to the required amount. After pouring the agent into a sprayer tank not equipped with a hydraulic mixer, mix the liquid in the tank mechanically. Rinse the empty packaging three times with water and pour the rinsing into the sprayer tank with the working liquid. In case of breaks in spraying, mix the spray liquid thoroughly in the sprayer tank before starting work again.

Pencot Sharda herbicide - application tips:

    Do not use the agent on light, sandy soils poor in organic matter.
    Do not mix the agent with the top layer of soil.
    − in places or facilities where appropriate solutions have been used to protect against environmental contamination and access by third parties,
    − in original packaging, in a way that prevents contact with food, drinks or feed,
    − at a temperature of 0°C - 30°C,
    − away from sources of heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces,
    − in a well-ventilated, cool place.
