I have here for sale a book entitled RURAL TALES, BALLADS, AND SONGS by ROBERT BLOOMFIELD The Seventh Edition printed for Vernor, Hood, and Sharpe; and Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, and Browne, London, in 1811.  This collection of works by Robert Bloomfield, (author of the Farmer's Boy), includes a full-page b/w portrait of Bloomfield on the frontispiece, and a further 11 full-page b/w illustrations. 

Brown marbled leather boards with a decorative gilt border and the initial M.D.M. in gilt on the front board.  Three small patches of leather missing from the boards.  Gilt lettering, bands and decoration on the spine.  Spine chipped at the top and has a small bit missing at the bottom.  Bookplate on the front endpaper.  Browning to endpapers with light foxing to a few pages.  Front hinge cracked but all pages are firm and the book is in very good internal condition.  viii, 123 pages.  16.5 x 10.5 cm.

We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
