* He measures approx 6.5" tall.

* Made of relatively thick walled ceramic with painted metal eyes, a ribbon bow and felt details.

* There's some debate in our family about whether he's a bear, red panda, regular panda, raccoon or tanuki.

* He's of unknown age and origin, but my guess is 1950's - 60's. He looks like Japanese banks from that time made by companies like Tilso.

* In pre-owned condition. He's got some worn spots in the flocking. There are three lines on the right side of his head that look like black paint. If you look inside him, you can see some hairline cracks in the ceramic. They look more like the result of drying too quickly rather than impact. Please see pics.
