Staple-bound rust and white wrappers with Dixon's distinctive Thunderbird logo on front. Slight edgewear and soiling. 1/2 inch tear within back wrapper. Interior is clean. Dixon signed the book in red pastel beneath his portrait opposite the title page. Very Good Condition.

Book includes 31 unpaginated pages with 16 illustrations, 8 plates in color. "The last work of the artist's life was issued by his wife, Edith Hamlin Dixon. Book published just prior to Dixon's death in 1946. The four-page introduction by Arthur Millier gives a nice sketch of his life. Includes listing of exhibitions. The frontispiece photograph of Maynard Dixon is by Ansel Adams".
