Oh, the many stages of drinking a bottle down! His expression in the end says it all!
Fabulous set of hand(?) embroidered linen cocktail napkins each featuring a tryptic of a bottle going from full to near empty.
These cocktail napkins are from the 50s or possibly earlier. I received them as a gift about 30 years ago and never dared use them.
Condition is very good: typical of age and having been used at a rollicking party.
- Some look like new, some are clearly used
- No rips, snags or tears
- Embroidery in excellent condition
- Color is excellent, some are faded a little
- Napkin color is off-white = unbleached linen
- Some stains. I have never cleaned them and unsure if those stains are removeable or not. They are linen and I don't know if the threads are colorfast - so I leave it to the purchaser to choose a cleaning method.
