  • Can I choose the lithium battery type through the LCD screen and buttons on the controller?
  • Yes. Tracer-AN series 10A-40A charge controller (software: SV200 or above version ) support choosing lithium battery type via LCD and buttons.
  • Do I need MT50/WiFi/Bluetooth module or PC to set parameters?
  • Yes. It is required if you wants to customize the voltage setpoints.
  • Can I set the Max. charge current?
  • The only way to limit the Max. charge current is to connect fewer solar panels. If you are not sure, we can design installation plan according to your system parameters.

2022 New Version Tracer-AN series adds the below new contents:

  2. Set battery types via the LCD
  3. Set battery parameters via the LCD
  4. Add Lithium battery voltage parameters: Lithium battery: LiFePO4(4s/12V; 8s/24V), Li(NiCoMn)O2 (3s/12V; 6s/24V), User

WARNING: When the default battery type is selected, the battery voltage parameters cannot be modified. To change the parameters, select the "USE" type.

When the battery type is "USE," the battery voltage parameters follow the following logic:

A． Over Voltage Disconnect Voltage > Charging Limit Voltage ≥ Equalize Charging Voltage ≥ Boost Charging Voltage ≥ Float Charging Voltage > Boost Reconnect Charging Voltage.

B． Over Voltage Disconnect Voltage > Over Voltage Reconnect Voltage.

C． Low Voltage Reconnect Voltage > Low Voltage Disconnect Voltage ≥ Discharging Limit Voltage.

D． Under Voltage Warning Reconnect Voltage>Under Voltage Warning Voltage≥ Discharging Limit Voltage.

E． Boost Reconnect Charging voltage >Low Voltage Reconnect Voltage.
