This is a 1958 Mercedes-Benz 300d Adenauer sedan which was converted to a roadster in the early 90s. This is a California car with only surface rust underneath (which has been covered with aftermarket rustproofing), in California all it's life until I bought it in 2013, and always inside after that. Here's an outline rundown of it's history:

7.                  MOST LIGHTS REPLACED WITH BRIGHTER LEDs IN 2013; HEADLIGHTS REPLACED WITH BOSCH HALOGEN H4s WITH 60/55 FLOSSER BULBS

8.                  FRONT END COMPLETELY REBUILT IN 2014, INCLUDING NEW SHOCKS AND RUBBER; REAR SHOCKS ALSO REPLACED

                                       iii.                       THIS SIGNALS AN MSD DIGITAL 6A CAPACITIVE DISCHARGE UNIT INSTALLED IN THE LEFT KICKPANEL

                                        iv.                       MSD SUPERCONDUCTOR PLUGWIRES

                                          v.                       NGK BCP6ES PLUGS INSTALLED

                                        vi.                       0 221 118 329 IGNITION COIL INSTALLED (TCI COIL FOR 1980s MB V8s, LOW PRIMARY RESISTANCE)

d.                 ALL COMPONENTS INSPECTED AND TESTED FOR FUNCTION, MOST REFINISHED AS WELL

e.                 EXHAUST DOWNPIPES ARE NEW TIMEVALVE, REST OF EXHAUST IS NEW Y-PIPE INTO SINGLE NEW 2.5” PIPE WITH ONE NEW DYNOMAX STRAIGHT-THRU MUFFLER

14.              WHILE ENGINE/TRANS WERE OUT:

a.                 FRAME AND VARIOUS LINES PAINTED WITH HIGH-VISIBILITY PAINT FOR EASIER MAINTENANCE

b.                 CENTRAL LUBE SYSTEM OVERHAULED (PUMP REBUILT) AND MODIFIED FOR BETTER LUBRICATION

c.                  HEATING SYSTEM/BLOWERS ENTIRELY REBUILT AND NOW FULLY FUNCTIONAL

d.                 LIGHTING WIRING OVERHAULED SO THAT:

                                           i.                       1ST TURN OF ROTARY SWITCH TO RIGHT ACTIVATES PARKING LIGHTS IN FACTORY FOGLIGHT HOUSINGS & AMBER LIGHTS ON FENDERTOPS

                                         ii.                       PULLING OUT ROTARY SWITCH IN 1ST POSITION (i) ACTIVATES AFTERMARKET FOGLIGHTS (VINTAGE S&M FOGLIGHTS, MADE IN LA)

                                       iii.                       CLEARANCE LIGHTS (COUNTERCLOCKWISE TURN OF ROTARY SWITCH) ARE THE FACTORY FOGLIGHTS

15.              THE ONLY ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS THAT HAVEN’T BEEN TESTED AND OVERHAULED ARE THE REAR LOAD LEVELERS (FUNCTIONALITY UNKNOWN) AND THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (INCOMPLETE AND NOT ADDRESSED); CLOCK WORKS, OVERHEAD LIGHT WORKS, HORNS ARE CORRECT AND WORK

16. SPEEDO CABLE NOT HOOKED UP TO GAUGE
