A large covered woven food box with hand-painted, lacquered papier mache exterior and interior. The box is painted with large flowers on the top and all sides. The item includes a certificate of authenticity dating the box to 1890-1900.
The item measures 18 inches long, 14 inches wide, and 8.5 inches deep.
