Looking for a Ralph Lauren coat that nobody else on the planet has?  This is it. A relative worked for Ralph Lauren in NYC in the 1980s, and gifted this coat to my mother who wore it for many years. A final version of this was retailed as a women's hunting coat in 1988.

Written inside the collar in faded ink I believe it says Fall 1987, which is correct for the time when it was produced. 

There is no size written anywhere inside the coat, but I believe it's a women's size 8.  Some photos are of my wife who is 5 ft 10 and slim.  The coat fits her well but the sleeves are a bit short for her. My mother was petite and wore it as an overcoat with the sleeves cuffed. The coat is in good condition considering its age and that it was worn.  There are a couple of light stains that should come out with a good dry cleaning.  The corduroy collar is worn a bit at the fold.  There's a missing button under the collar.

A small investment to repair and clean the coat would bring it back to life.
