Wonderful Elegant Brooch

A revival of the Victorian or Rennaisance Stle of Jewellerym with the filligree scalloped cut outs around the outside, the bold royal blue enamel with a srt pearl with matching filligree decoration.

I have made mention of Florenza as a maker, the brooch is unsigned but although making jewllery from 1930 it wasnt until 1950 that pieces were marked, the workmanship is very good and the style is certainly in keeping with Florenza designs. However a faux pearl is used here and im unure if that would have been something that they would have done, i am not overly familiar with there pieces as this is the only one I have handled, so take the piece on face value rather than simply because its may be by a specific designer and then you wont be dissapointed.

A simple confident and classic piece of costume jewellery design

This piece is in the revival style seen from 1930's to 1950's so can be dated as vintage but hard to be specific as to exactly when or as mentioned earlier exactly by who as its unmarked

The piece is very well cared for and is in excellent condition overall with the goldtone intact, a small rub on the faux pearl only noticeable under a loupe. The pn is true and tight.

Overall 3.5cm Diameter
