Here is another very attractive and interesting African tribal face mask I am quite sure comes from the Bembe people of the Congo. Although the carefully applied pattern of triangles is usually associated with Kuba work, Bembe seems more likely. Its conception and realization are top notch. The white colored/painted areas are beginning to chip and flake. I will handle and pack this as securely as possible but it is not impossible that a few will finish detaching in transit.
