1959 Edsel Ranger.
1959 Edsel ranger. I aquired the car from a friend in as is conditions and just bought the new wheels and tires because I had plans to do a restoration on it ,put it on airride and paint it balck with red interior,but I have other builds in the works and testing the waters if anyone would be interested in buying it.
Original paint,super solid car with very little small rust spots shown in pics and all about finger end size. Those are the only spots rest of car is solid ,floors are solid and around windows and all that . Nice patina. Has a solid great running low mile 260 small block v8 / auto trans out of a falcon.Its a nice cruiser.Originally a 6cyl 3on the tree. Since it was a 3 speed on the column it has a cable for transmission and is in reverse order as park is down on the bottom and shift up vs instead of top and shifting down the column. It can be swapped and corrected by flopping cable down by the trans. I got it that way and didnt bother me so havent messed with it . Has aluminum radiator and electric fan. trans cooler under car. Has disk brake conversion up front. New shocks. Evetything there and in working order. Interior is original and there, needs to be re done as headliner has torn with the wind and seat have wear n tear. Gauges don't work and havent had time to check and or get them working which I dont think it would be alot to get them working because no wires are hooked up to it . Gas tank was removed and cleaned by previous owner. All lights work. New American racing 18in wheels and tires. All glass in good condition and not cracked. Has all the trim but the 2 front hood spears which I found on ebay fairly cheap. Driver rear quarter panel has little dented area as seen in picture and trim has slight damage that can be fixed or order the set off ebay fairly cheap..

Car isnt perfect and restored ,but runs and drives great and price reflects that and at 10k you don't find a running and driving classic . Recently bought rear white tail light lenses as the ones shown are broken and bought hood release cable with nob because the one in car doesnt have the nob to pull cable to open hood . Still works by pulling end cabke with plyers. Car is a little dirty and dusty in the pictures .sorry . Has clean california title and car is on non op . Not a bad deal, considering a running and driving classic for under 10k with a title and new wheels and tires that someone can make there own as they want to build it or keep it the way it is and drive it around. Car is cheap for whats out there and is a great runner and driver can cruise it anywhere . Just uploaded a video I have on my facebook marketplace ad for the car as well . Have had 3 buyers back out . 2 on marketplace one on ebay. Lowered price quite a bit now after offers ,but yet the guys don't buy .
