Merida Reacto 4000 Carbon Road Bike.

This has been used for weekend rides and for commutes in the nicer weather.

It is still in immaculate condition. It has hydraulic disc brakes, with cooler technology. The seat post has an integrated rear light, and it also has a small tool kit which slots conveniently underneath the seat for emergencies. 

I added the Shimano 105 pedals to match the gears and shifters. 

Everything is still original apart from the tyres. I upgraded to the Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres, as I feel these are far better at reducing the risk of punctures then most tyres.
