An Emma Bridgewater ‘Second’ quality 1.5 pint jug with a lovely design featuring blue cornflowers, blue roses and green leaves.

The jug has been decorated by hand using sponges dipped into paint prior to glazing (this method of decoration sometimes preferred by collectors).

Measures approx 14 cm H x 18 cm W (handle to spout).

The jug has the original quality check label to the underside, stating ‘inspected by 7’ and an etched ‘S’ to confirm the second status.

Crafted from cream-coloured earthenware in the Emma Bridgewater factory in Stoke-on-Trent, the home of British pottery.
