Rogers Bros Rare 7 bottle castor condiment set.  The bottom is marked Rogers and #57 Hartford Connecticut extra plate. The frame measures 18 1/4" tall and 8 1/4" across the carousel.  The base is 6 1/4" in diameter.  There is a pattern of leaves and flowers on the silver plate.  Each of the 7 bottle holder has a small finial on the bottom.  Bottle measure as follows:  cruets 8 3/4" with stoppers, shakers 8 1/4"  tall and the mustard is 5 1/2" tall.  The pattern on the bottles is very intricate.  The stoppers for the cruets are used to measure oil, vinegar, water and wine for vegetables and salads in the 1800's.  There is a small amount of silver loss on the base.  The bottles for this set were some of the most expensive bottles that could have been purchased in the late 1800's.
