Networking

The built-in Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 adapter works flawlessly on both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.  This laptop also has a Gigabit Ethernet port and Bluetooth too.

 

Refurbishing

This one came to me in decent cosmetic condition but would not even turn on.  Long story short, Lenovo replaced the motherboard under warranty.  I then installed a new SKHynix (made for Lenovo) 256 GB NVMe Solid State Drive, added a 4 GB RAM module (to bring the total to 20 GB), and also replaced the original LCD panel because it had a deep scratch which was very distracting.  After all the hardware upgrades, I installed Windows 10 Pro 22H2 and all available driver and system updates from Microsoft, Lenovo, and Intel.  Finally, I thoroughly tested the computer including the battery and all ports and features.  

 

Battery Notes

Most sellers on eBay do not take the time to test batteries, but I always do a full rundown before I offer a laptop for sale.  The battery in this computer is in very good condition, still holds almost 90% of its original design capacity and will run the laptop for about 12 hours, depending on use of course.

 

For sake of completeness

This laptop is not new and does show some signs of prior use, all of which are purely cosmetic and do not affect the operation of the laptop in any way.  There are several scuffs and light scratches on the top cover and also a “ding” on the left edge of the palmrest (please see picture number 5 of this listing).  There is nothing broken or cracked or missing though and the important features like the screen, keyboard, and TrackPad are in new or like new condition.
