I have here for sale a book entitled A CHRONICLE OF THE KINGS OF ENGLAND From the Time of the Romans Government unto the Death of King James.  Containing all Passages of State and Church, with all other Observations proper for a Chronicle, faithfully collected out of Authors Ancient and Modern and digested into a new Method, by Sir Richard Baker, where unto is now added Ye Reigne of King Charles Ye I and the first thirteen years of the Reigne of King Charles II.  Published by George Sawbridge, London in 1674.  It has a full page frontispiece portrait of King Charels II and an illustrated title page with  small images of A Roman, A Saxon, A Dane, A Norman and King Charles as well as small vignettes of London, York, Verolam (St Albans) and Lincoln.  Illustrated capitals at the start of each section.

Full leather hardboards with 5 raised bands to the spine.  Both boards are detached and the leather is starting to lift at the joints.  Wear to corners and spine.  Frontispiece, illustrated and plain title pages are detached.  A little area of bookworm to the inside top left corner of the reverse of the front board.  Staining and foxing throughout but all other pages are bound.  Old ink notes to the plain page facing the last page of the book. Condition: fair/good.  772 pages, 35 x 23 cm.

We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
