I have here for sale a book entitled A TRIP TO MEXICO or Recollections of a Ten-Month's Ramble in 1849-50 by a Barrister.  It is a first edition published by Smith, Elder and Co, London in 1851.  The trip took the author from Southampton to Vera Cruz to Mexico City, Guanaxuato, Tepic, San Blas, Chagres and home.  

Half calf leather on dark brown hardboards.  Gilt Sion College library stamp to the front board.  Spine has been rebacked in lighter tan calf leather with a dark green title block and gilt lettering.  Original corners are rubbed and have a few chips.  Some to the leather near the hinges.  Tan endpapers.  Pages a little sunned but clean and firm throughout, just small stain to flyleaf.  256 pages, 19 x 12 cm.

Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK.  If you buy more than one item then the postage cost falls for the second and further items as I will put them into one parcel - so you save money. We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
