How it works:
Polyester fibres are needled through a reflective metalised polyester film.
The polyester fibres resist conduction while the reflective metalised polyester film reflects radiant energy, hot and cold, back to its source.
The needled material is breathable and won’t break down with washing.
Insul-Bright’s metalised film makes a crinkly sound that is very attractive to babies and animals lending itself to use in soft books and toys.
Please note: Insul-Bright is not recommended for microwave use and at least one layer of cotton batting is recommended when making oven mitts and pot holders.
