Up for bid is a bright-cut and chased Victorian coin silver preserve spoon with repousse fruit decoration. The spoon is 7 ¾ inches long and weighs 38 grams.  The bowl is nicely chased with repousse fruits and leaves.  The handle has a twist stem and Philadelphia-style engraving and engine-turning.  It has not been monogrammed.  There are no marks, but based on similar marked pieces I suspect this was made by Peter L. Krider of Philadelphia.

Condition on the spoon is very good.  There just normal signs of use.  A fine old coin serving piece!
