Charming Vintage 1939 7th Grade Student HANDWRITTEN Recipe Cookbook
Description
A handwritten book by a sweet seventh grader for her Domestic Science class. She introduces the book by writing: “Domestic Science, or Home Economics, takes up the study of all activities in the home." She includes housekeeping, equipment, table settings, how to serve food, instructions, directions, and recipes. The book is decorated with a some cutouts which adds to its charm. There are 18 filled double sided pages. Several recipes are dated during the fall of 1939. It appears she got a “B” as her grade.
Would be a wonderful addition to your vintage handwritten cookbook collection. Would also be a creative gift for the young person in your life who loves to cook.
