ITEM: This listing is for a hard-to-find 1950’s Lolly or Biscuit jar that was made in Japan. This is a musical lolly jar and the top portion of the jar has a music box mechanism that plays music when the lid is lifted and tuns off when the lid is returned to the jar. This pretty clear glass jar has metal design that follows the ribs of the jar and protruding balls on the end of the metal. The top has a ribbed finial and bail handle. This stands 9 inches to the top of the bail and 7 1/2 inches to the top of the lid. It is about 5 1/4 inches at its widest.
