Vintage Record No.3 Smoothing Plane manufactured in the Parkway Works Sheffield Circa 1956 - 1959
Fully restored to include Sole Plate upper face shot blasted and re-enamelled in correct Record Blue enamel
The lower Sole Plate face is untouched original dead flat and smooth
All parts and screw threads were lubricated before re-assembly
No cracks in Tote Handle and Knob
The Cutting Iron is dead square and has been diamond honed to a 30 degree cutting edge and leather back lapped - very sharp
Ready for work and will last a lifetime
