Rare vintage Record No.7 War Finish Jointer manufactured in the Bernard Road Works Sheffield Circa 1939 - 1945
All Original condition
The lower Sole Plate face is untouched original dead flat and smooth
The upper sole plate has lost about 50% of the original enamel
All parts and screw threads were lubricated before re-assembly
The Tote Handle and Knob have been re-finished and sealed - no cracks
The Cutting Iron and Chip Breaker are original and matching
The Cutting Iron is dead square and has been diamond honed to a 30 degree cutting edge and back lapped - very sharp
Don't confuse this with lighter modern mass produced in China versions with the central reinforcing rib on the sole plate this is a totally different heavy duty beast
Ready for work and will last another lifetime
