The optic is in excellent condition. No fog nor scratches and no big dust.
For your information - be aware that the switch between AF and manual focus is very particular on this lens.
It has a "Focus Clutch" mechanism which allows you to change between manual and auto-focusing by moving the focus ring back and forth (two positions).
You have to set the ring to infinity to do so this, it's a little cumbersome, but no disfunction here (see the last two pictures).
To use it manually, the AF/MF button has to be in MF position and the focusing ring too (it can be a bit tricky to operate - see pictures for the two different positions of the ring).
To use it with the AF, you obviously have to switch the AF/MF button to AF but you can leave the focusing ring in MF position, in this case the focusing ring will rotate while focusing.
If you don't want the focusing ring to rotate while focusing you have to put it in AF position.
This is the normal procedure for this lens, but everything works fine, AF and MF, just different ways to use them.
