Vandoren V16 mouthpieces are inspired by the sounds of the greatest Jazz players from the fifties to the present.  Java, V16 and ZZ reeds are more recommended for these mouthpieces. These mouthpieces are characterised by their clean, pure and bright tone that makes them ideal for jazz or pop playing. For the Tenor, these hard rubber mouthpieces come two chamber sizes, Medium (M) and Large (L). The Medium chamber is characterised by its ability to aid you in producing a warm and expressive that is ideal for section playing. Whereas the Large chamber model is modelled off of vintage mouthpieces from the 40s, so it offers a full, rich, and darker sound alternative. This chamber is perfect for the player searching for the ?vintage? sound. It is even and easy to play throughout the range of the instrument.
