An estate find, this is a vintage Sadler bone china teapot, made in England, and featuring a floral design with gold gilding. The colors and the flower design are what jumped out to me originally when I found this piece - just a lovely mix of yellows, greens, pinks and blues, that even extends to the top cover.

Based on the maker's mark, we know this piece is made after 1948 - most likely the 1950s or 1960s. The piece is impressed with the words Sadler England, also has the reddish printed mark with the same information and crown mark, and written in gold is the number 2770 and the initials of the decorator.

There are no chips or cracks; there is crazing throughout. There is very minimal gold gilding loss, even on the handle, rim and spout ( I see only one spot on the very tip of the handle where there is slight loss). There is no staining on the interior.

It measures 9" from tip of the handle to the spout end. It is 5" tall to the top of rim, not including the top, and is 7" tall to the tip of the pull top.
