Vintage KOSTA BODA MONICA BACKSTROM BLUE ART GLASS VASE Faceted sculpture. Primary glass is a dreamy pale aqua blue with the exterior encrusted in glass ice crystals. Faceted front reveals the intense cobalt blue Sommerso plume. This "Moonlanding" piece has a decidedly organic, natural otherworldly character or perhaps an aquatic, oceanic feel. Nice large size-- 11" tall. No chips or cracks but does have a few surface scuffs which does not detract from its beauty. Also, a small natural bubble in center of facet.
This is a rare, one-of-a-kind art piece; a wonderful element to add in an a modern or eclectic decor style and great conversation piece.
