Fineness
The important thing when it comes to fineness is how much pure gold is alloyed with other metals to get the desired gold color. The higher the proportion of pure gold in an alloy, the more valuable it is.
333/- Gold (8 carats) 333 parts gold in the alloy, 667 parts other, mostly base alloy components. These base components make the gold tarnish very easily.
If the proportion of pure gold in the alloy is 333/-, it can no longer be called gold. Or. In Switzerland or Great Britain this limit is even 375/- or 9 carats
585/- gold (14 carat) 585 parts gold content in an alloy. 415 parts of other metals.
750/- gold (18 carat) declares a gold content of 750 parts of an alloy. High-quality, exclusive jewelry is made from this alloy.
1000/- gold (fine gold) this is extremely soft and bends very easily. It can therefore hardly be used for jewelry making
That's why I work almost exclusively in 750/- gold. The white gold that I process consists of an alloy containing gold and palladium. The palladium gives the naturally yellow gold its white color. Since palladium is also a precious metal, the risk of an allergy is very, very rare.
Carat (weight)
The weight of a diamond is measured in carats. 1 carat is equal to 0.2 grams. There is a point system in which a diamond with one carat corresponds to 100 points. A diamond with 0.50 carat is therefore also called a diamond with 50 points or called half a carat (half carat).

Clarity
The clarity of a diamond refers to any inclusions inside or on the surface of the diamond. This criterion largely determines the price or Value of a diamond.
IF (Flawless) Even at 10x magnification there are no inclusions or Flaws visible
VS (very small inclusions) these inclusions or Flaws can only be seen by a specialist under 10x magnification.
SI (small inclusions) These inclusions or Flaws are easily visible under 10x magnification and only slightly reduce the brilliance of a diamond
I 1 (clear inclusions) these are visible to the naked eye and significantly reduce the brilliance
I2 (very clear inclusions) these are immediately visible to the naked eye and reduce the brilliance very significantly
Color
Diamond color is a little misleading. The most valuable are completely colorless diamonds. Many diamonds appear colorless; upon closer inspection, many diamonds turn yellow or brownish color spectrum. The larger this share is, the lower its value.
Cut
