Eine wunderschöne Zypressengitarre aus der Werkstatt von Jose Ramirez. Sie wurde höchstwahrscheinlich in den letzten Jahren von Jose Ramirez I. gebaut. Das Etikett auf dieser Gitarre zeigt kein Jahr, aber diese Art von Etikett wurde zwischen 1921 und 1925 verwendet. Jose Ramirez starb im Jahr 1923. Jose Ramirez I. war der herausragende Gitarrenbauer seiner Zeit und gilt als der Urvater des Gitarrenbaus in Madrid. In der Tat suchten die Gitarristen jener Zeit nach Lösungen für den schlechten Klang der damals gebauten Gitarren. Sie wandten sich an Jose Ramirez, der dann die so genannte Tablao-Gitarre schuf. Der Klang dieser Jose Ramirez ist absolut charmant und elegant. Sie hat alle Qualitäten einer hochwertigen handgefertigten Gitarre des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts im Stil von Torres, wobei der Klang von Decke, Boden und Zargen widerhallt. Sie hat einen lockeren, trockenen und durchdringenden Klang mit großen Bässen und satten, vollen Höhen. Die höheren Lagen sind unglaublich süß und sinnlich. Diese Gitarre singt wunderschön - sie kann praktisch jeden Musikstil mit viel Charme und Eleganz begleiten. Es ist eine lebendige Gitarre und es macht viel Spaß, sie zu spielen ... schwer, sie aus der Hand zu legen.
Die Gitarre ist in einem gut restaurierten Zustand. Es hat ein paar reparierte Risse, aber alles ist stabil und die Gitarre ist einsatzbereit. Sie spielt sich leicht, mit einer niedrigen Saitenlage und einem geraden Hals. Die Sattelbreite beträgt 51 mm und die Mensur 650 mm.
Die Gitarre kommt mit einem neueren Koffer.

A beautiful cypress guitar from the workshop of Jose Ramirez. It was most probably built in the last years of Jose Ramirez I. The label on this guitar doesn't show any year, but this style of label was used during 1921 - 1925. Jose Ramirez died in 1923. Jose Ramirez I was the outstanding guitar maker at that time and is considered the forefather of guitar building in Madrid. It was indeed the case that the guitarists of that time were looking for solutions to the poor sound of the guitars built at that time. They turned to Jose Ramirez, who then created the so-called tablao guitar. The inner structure of this guitar was completely in line with the style and pattern of Torres guitars.
The sound of this Jose Ramirez is absolutely charming and elegant. It has has all the qualities of an high end handmade guitar of the early 20th century in Torres’ style, with the sound resonating off the top, back and sides. It has a loose, dry and penetrating sound with big basses and succulent, fat trebles. The higher registers are incredibly sweet and sensuous. This guitar sings beautifully – it can accommodate virtually any style of music with great charm and elegance. It is a lively guitar and a lot of fun to play … hard to put it down.
The guitar is in a well restored condition. It has some repaired cracks, but all is stable and the guitar is ready to go. It plays easily, with a low action and a straight neck. The nut width is 51 mm and the scale length 650 mm.
The guitar comes with a newer case.
