This is a very old wrought iron gate lock. The square body has four reinforcing bands with hand made rivets (one rivet is missing). Comes with it's long key which still works the primative mechanism. The lock by itself measures 10" long. Probable European or Middle Eastern in origin. A unique ancient hand made gate lock.
