This buy it now auction is for a superb well detailed bronze figure which I believe to be of Dahomey type and originating from what today is known as Benin.

I understand it dated from around the 1920s but can not be definitive about the precise age.It is old.

It depicts a standing warrior or fighter wearing a top formed with diamond shapes perhaps a representation of armour.He wears a conical shaped headgear and is waving a sword or other weapon in one hand.

Condition is very good with some age wear.
