An early 1920s / 30s Ludwig 'Super Ludwig' nickel over brass snare drum in fair player condition. The drum features a heavy brass shell outfitted with 10 tube lugs, a 'Super' strainer system, single flanged hoops, muffler, original nickel plated brass clips and tension rods. The drum does include the original super snare strand.
Please note: the drum does not have the extension snare guards. the felt on the muffler has worn through (see photos), the extension arm on the strainer has broken on one side however still holds in the strainer (see photos), there are hairline stress fracture cracks at the snare bed on the resonant side of the shell (see photos).
