Full tapered tang , overall length 9-1/4”. 416 stainless steel guard. Black Micarta scales with double stainless steel escutcheon plates “ great for personal engraving “. Two stainless steel pins with stainless lanyard tube with fine red liners. This was Jim Merritt’s personal knife that his grandson inherited his estate after passing in 2018. Comes with its original high quality leather sheath with shop stamp and Jim Merritt’s initials on back side in mint used condition. The rarity is the Loveless/Merritt logo and the extra length and double escutcheon plates. Has all the balls and whistles. A great collectible piece of history from the two greatest American custom knife makers of all time.
