I have here for sale a book entitled AMONG PRIMITIVE PEOPLES IN BORNEO A Description of the Lives, Habits and Customs of the Piratical Head-hunters of North Borneo, with an Account of Interesting Objects of Prehistoric Antiquity discovered in the Island by Ivor H N Evans.  It is a first edition published by Seeley, Service & Co Ltd, in 1922.  There are 21 b/w plates and a blue and white map of the area.  Ivor Hugh Norman Evans (1886–1957) was a British anthropologist, ethnographer and archaeologist who spent most of his working life in peninsular British Malaya (now Malaysia) and in North Borneo (now Sabah, Malaysia).

Orange cloth hardboards with a black border and small black round image of an African shield to the centre of the front board.  Black title lettering to the spine.  Spine is darkened and is bumped to head and tail.  A few blotches to the cloth but generally clean.  Spotting to page edges.  Some pencil marginalia.  Binding firm and map in very good condition with no tears.  318 pages, 22 x 14 cm.

Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK.  If you buy more than one item then the postage cost falls for the second and further items as I will put them into one parcel - so you save money. We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
