DETAIL: Painter, born in Sussex. She studied as a mature student at Southampton College of Art and part-time at Winchester College of Art. Won a number of prizes, including the Thomas Agnew, Brandler and Patterson Prizes, and New English Critics’ Prize in 1990, three years after she was elected a member of New English Arts Club (NEAC). Also showed at RA, RWA and Kingfisher Gallery during 1990 Edinburgh Festival. She shared shows at Theatre Royal in Winchester, Hallam Gallery and Waterman Fine Art Ltd in 1991, later solo exhibitions including Crossgate Gallery, Kentucky, 1994. Was painter-in-residence at Glyndebourne for the opera festival in 1991–3, completing a project with English National Opera, 1994–5. Travelled in India and Australia to paint. National Trust holds her work.Lived in Hurstbourne Tarrant, Hampshire.

Frames: Because of the fragile nature of picture frames, all frames are offered free with the painting. You are welcome to ask questions about the frame condition before buying but we cannot accept returns or requests for 'part refunds' because a frame arrives with some existing damage not sustained in transit.

All paintings are sold without glass for safety in transit. Replacement glass costs just a few pounds, is easily fitted, and saves the strong likelihood of your artwork getting damaged in the post if glass were included. We ship within a maximum of 3 days of purchase and will use a variety of 24-48 hour parcel carriers including Parcelforce, UPS, Yodel, City Link and Hermes. Internationally we generally ship UPS on a 5 day service. We ship worldwide apart from The Russian Federation and certain other countries where we cannot get parcel company coverage. You are also welcome to collect from our address near Cirencester, Cotswolds – at no charge. Unfortunately we have to charge a small premium for UK Highlands & Islands as well as Northern Ireland, please email for a postal quote if you live in these areas of the country.
We accept returns when notified within 48 hours of receipt. If the return is due to an error on our part then we will pay up to £12 for the return postage. If the return is for other reasons, not the fault of ourselves, then we will not pay for the return postage but will refund the full purchase price (excluding postage) on receipt.
