An impressive Chinese Imperial yellow peking glass baluster style vase. The vase has a lobed body, slim neck, and a rounded foot base. The rich vivid yellow color is notably reserved for Imperial wares. There is a incised zhuanshu 4-character Qianlong(Chien Lung) mark within a square is on the base. To my understanding authentic Qianlong wares are marked interchangeably with the qiao (2 or 5) mark either "He" or "Quian". The incise mark is intricately detailed with thick block form characters seen on many Imperial wares. Note: Using a high magnification jewelers loupe the Zhuanshu Qianlong mark appears to be incised by hand, and not by modern machinery. At the top of the vase you can see the many layers of Peking glass finished by cutting or scrapping away the excess glass using a knife. The vase is solid and weighs approximately 4 pounds. It measures approximately 11 inches in height  and 5.25 inches in diameter.  Please ask any questions before bidding. Thank you.
