This antique little lady china is a rare find. Made in Germany during the 1870’s period by the Conta and Boehme porcelain factory. She has the rare pierced ears and her original antique ruby red earrings with no cracks near the piercing holes.

The striking blue eyes are lidded sleep eyes …the most noticeable feature of the Conta and Boehme

The partial pupil is painted close to the black outline of the upper lid. Makes it look like the pupil is under the eyelid and sleepy. Long single stroke eyebrows. Red upper eyelid liner at the eyelid crease line and black outline of the eyes. High upper red lip peaks with slight upturn making a smile..another Conta and Boehme feature. Has rosy cheeks and molded chin.

Has black curly hair and a chignon curled at the rear of the head with some hair rubs where it has been laid down.

She has her original soft brown cotton body that is without odor and antique sewing. Her china arms are original and delicate fingers. Her black boots have wear but no cracks nor chips to hands nor feet.

Her shoulder plate has no hairlines, cracks nor repairs. Her shoulder plate is four inches tall and 3 3/4 inches across.

Has an antique cotton slip and pantilets.

She wears a professionally made three piece fashion dress that is historically appropriate to her era.

It is a soft beige cotton dress with antique lace and light blue ribbon trim and light blue papers flowers at the jacket closure. The ensemble is fully lined. She has a separate beige full slip that matches the dress.

She is in very good condition and would be an unusual china doll to add to a collection
