I am offering a pair of the Beyerdynamic DT 150, a 250 Ohm Studio Grade Headphone, with Old School design and Near-Indestructible Construction, boasting superbly Neutral, Highly detailed, Reference sound, plus excellent Acoustic Isolation.
The Original EDT 150 P-Leather Ear Pads were used for a Dozen Hours at best, yet after a lengthy period of Storage, they were rather sticky and had begun splitting on the Inside. Apparently, long term longevity on these is not at all good and definitely a poor showing from Beyerdynamic on this particular item. I have cleaned them as best as I could and they are on the whole still usable, if only slightly sticky.
I have replaced them with an Alternative pair of Velour Ear Pads designed for its older Brother, the DT 100. They are a bit shallower, but on the whole more Comfortable and they will certainly last a lot longer than the EDT 150.
With these, the DT 150 gain a Boost in the Bass regions, yet retaining its Tight, Solid character. The Soundstage becomes a bit more Intimate and the overall presentation more Forward through the Midrange, yet a touch less Bright in the Highs.
It is in Excellent, clean Cosmetic condition and it is technically fully functional. Fitted with Brand New Ear Pads and Headband Pad.
Replacements can be had from Beyerdynamic at very reasonable cost.
With a 250 Ohm impedance, these will give their best with a Good, powerful Desktop Amp, as they require a good Voltage swing and decent Current capability, even though they are generally quite efficient.
