1978 Seiko SQ Sports 100 model 7546-7039 'Royal Oak'
In keeping with the Royal Oak ethos, the watch has a chunky bold
appearance that still fits beneath a shirt sleeve. A guarded 4 o'clock
screw-down crown stands apart from more common Seiko Royal Oak variants
with conventional crowns at the 3 o'clock position.
Date and day (bilingual; English and Spanish) is present at the 3 o'clock position.
A rare watch with the extremely rare original bracelet that will
comfortably fit a wrist of up to 7" (because of the lug design, very few
other bracelets will fit this case.)
The case is new old stock; a Seiko sales 'sample' (used for sales reference and display, these cases original had no movements inside. Note the "Sample" stamping on the case back.) Consequently, this watch has a time capsule appearance and fresh seals (not pressure tested.)
