A gorgeous vintage hat with peacock feather trim on exterior band, clean interior and the former owner's name embossed on inside band (he was a prominent figure in California horse racing). Overall a gorgeous piece with a history.
Some loss of feathers from age, as pictured, and the hat was stored such that the brim is not perfectly even all around. On the underside of the brim there are a couple of spots where the wool has thinned from age, lentil sized or smaller.
