I am only listing this unit as "for parts or not working" as I have no way to fully test it. I do have a blank Video8 tape on hand, but no compatible media to copy from. 

I also took a video with my camera showing it functioning in play, rw, ff & record, but can't seem to find it on my computer...

You can rest assured that it performed all of these functions properly mechanically. The innards look really clean also.

There is a very small area of "leaked" LCD dark color at the upper left corner, but it is very minor and does not even come close to interfering with the display readouts.

If this unit does need any attention, I am pretty sure it will be very minor, but can make no hard guarantees.
